Email Marketing

Email marketing uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience. The term is usually referred to sending emails with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers and to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business. Email marketing has become so popular due to the fact that a mailing list provides the ability to distribute information to a wide range of specific, potential customers at a relatively low cost. Email marketing is often reported as second only to search marketing as the most effective internet marketing strategy. Any website that is not using email marketing is allowing traffic and customers to slip through their fingers.
